• assess traceability at an early control point in the waste chain,
• and inform future compliant, pre-commercial operations.

This programme is exploratory and evidence-led in nature.

Who the Pilot Is For

The pilot is intended for:

• UK dental practices,
• sector stakeholders,
• or professional partners
• who wish to explore improved environmental handling and transparency approaches without commercial obligation.

Participation is voluntary and limited in scope.

  What Participation Involves

Pilot participation may include:

• use of dedicated, sealed containers for mercury-bearing waste,
• coordination of compliant collection and transport,
• basic chain-of-custody documentation,
• confirmation of delivery to licensed downstream facilities.

The pilot focuses on process evaluation, not service rollout.

What the Pilot Does Not Involve

To ensure clarity, pilot participation does not involve:

• any commercial contract or payment obligation,
• treatment, refinement, destruction, or neutralisation of mercury,
• handling of patient data or clinical records,
• marketing or promotional commitments,
• exclusivity or long-term agreements.

Participation can be discontinued at any time.

Data Handling and Transparency

The pilot is designed around minimal, proportionate data collection.

Where data is recorded, it may include:

• container movements,
• dates of collection and delivery,
• aggregated quantities (where appropriate).

No patient data or identifiable clinical information is collected.
Any data used for evaluation or reporting purposes will be anonymised and aggregated.

Regulatory Position

ReclaimX Environmental Ltd operates as a broker and logistics coordinator and does not carry out waste treatment or recovery activities.

All downstream treatment and recovery is performed by appropriately licensed operators.
